HIGHTOWER HOUSE - Georgia Vacation RentalHightower House is located at a height of just over 2000 feet in the Chattahoochee National Forest area of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, about two hours drive from Atlanta and a few miles south of the North Carolina/Tennessee border. Our home is just south of the US 76, which runs west to east from Blue Ridge, through Blairsville and Hiawassee, to Clayton. It is just five minutes east of the small mountain township of Hiawassee, which has an Ingles supermarket, many places to eat and several antique shops.
Hightower House lies less than one mile south of the US 76. It is accessed from the easy Swallows Creek Road (no dirt roads!), which crosses first Hightower Creek and then Swallows Creek on its way to the house. Using Google Maps or Microsoft Maps to find our home and to plan your trip Please note that the road names have recently changed in the area of Hightower House. If you are looking on Google or Microsoft Maps, search for Larry Coleman Rd, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
